Meet Dr. Emily Powers

Dr. Emily Powers is originally from Ashtabula, Ohio and graduated from Saint John High School. She then attended Slippery Rock University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, and a minor in Spanish. Since high school Dr. Emily knew she wanted to be a chiropractor, she continued her education at New York Chiropractic College, located in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Her last year of clinical education was at the Depew Health Center, an affiliate of the school, located in Buffalo, New York and after earned her Doctorate Degree in Chiropractic. Dr. Emily has always had a passion for sports and staying active. She enjoys hiking, yoga, exercising, and playing volleyball and tennis. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and reading. She is an avid sports fan and loves to cheer on all Cleveland sports teams, whether in the stands or watching at home.
Dr. Emily knew that she wanted to be a chiropractor due to the excellent care she received for all her sports injuries throughout high school. During school, she had an interest in sports related care as well as care for the pregnant and pediatric patient. She attended classes that educated on these topics and continues to educate herself with new information and research to provide the best care for her patients. Dr. Emily currently works along side Dr. Corbin in treating and caring for your elite athletes of the Columbus Crew. Go Crew! In addition, Dr. Emily is certified in Dry Needling. She treats a wide range of patients and believes in the importance of educating the patient on several different factors that contribute to their health including, stress, nutrition, exercise, proper posture and ergonomics, and much more. She is passionate about chiropractic and continues to educate herself to provide her patient’s with the most up-to-date care to help them get out of pain and improve their overall health.
